| 17/01/2011 | Miriam | USA | Greetings John, I appreciate your taking us back to the airport. I told my husband that you were Irish and he was pleased. It is his most favorite place (on earth, I think). If he could retire there he would do it without hesitation. He has done several cycling trips there, plus we took his parents for a visit. It is a magical land. I would have to say my best memory is standing on the peat bogs. Thanks again for your response and service. Best regards, Miriam and Caitlin Velazquez-Fagley |
| 17/01/2011 | Sandra Simpson | USA | John, I wanted to thank you for your services on my recent trip to Buenos Aires. I'm sorry for all the delays with my flights. I must say that waiting in the EZE airport for 10 hours for my return trip was soooooooooooooooo long. At least, I didn't have to worry about being on time. LAN got me from Santiago to BA on time. I've never had so many little hiccups with flights before. My previous experiences with LAN were very good. I guess they were just having some bad days, and I was lucky enough to be on the receiving end. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year. Thanks again. If I'm ever in BA again, I will surely contact you for services. Sandra |
| 23/11/2010 | Lorriane and Duncan Humpries | Canada | November 14/2010 John met us at the cruise ship terminal and took us to our hotel only to find that they had no record of our confirmed and paid for reservation. John took it upon himself to drive us around for a good hour to try and find another hotel, which we did. I don't know what we would have done without him. His service is exemplary and I we have no hesitation is highly recommending him. We will recommend him to everyone we know! |
| 11/08/2010 | Ligia Spano Nakano | Brasil | Hey John. It was a nice ride to the airport. Thank you! |
| 20/05/2010 | c luce | usa | My husband and I have just had our second visit to the wonderful city of Buenos Aires and would love to pass on our experiances. We were met at the Airport by John Boyle from bataxis. He is a native English speaker who has lived in BA for several years. He took us into the city while telling us all about the city the politics and the do's and don'ts of Buenos Aires. I highly reccommend this service. We had rented an apartment from myspaceba. It was in a great location right next to plaza Serano in the center of Palermo Soho. The aparment was exactly as in the photos and there were no hidden costs,so we were very content We ate the best steaks and drank the best wines and enjoyed Buenos Aires to the hilt. The people are second to none and if they can help you they will. While the International Airport functioned very well and we had no problems, the same cannot be said of the local AEP Airport Flights come and go at the descretion of god knows who and they don't even seem to update the arrival and departure boards. So be prepared to wait with little or no info. But apart from that Argentina is a dream |

| 19/01/2010 | The Murphys | San Diego Calif USA | We take annual holiday trips to avoid the Xmas crunch and chose South America this time around. We started in Buenos Aires (BA for short), took a 3 day excursion to Iguazu Falls (look for that in separate post) and then back to BA before boarding a ship to Rio. We spent the first night at a great little hotel (Art Hotel) on the outskirts of Recoleta. Our best intentions to walk around BA were overcome by our need to recover from the series of long flights and acclimate to the 6 -hour time shift. We arranged in advance for a driver/tour with John Boyle of BATaxis.com to pick us up at the hotel for transit to the domestic airport in Rio for our trip to Iguazu. John kept our excess luggage secure while we visited the falls and then picked us up on our return - transporting us and our stored luggage to the dock. The next day, John came to the dock to start our drive/walk/subway tour of BA. It has a fascinating history and a great number of 'back stories' about how and why the Argentinians are they way they are. We were there just before Christmas and the streets were packed with last minute shoppers. John kept a good pace and we managed to see all the 'sites of BA' and then some. Top of our list is the following: 1. If you like dogs; definitely ask to see some of the parks where the 'dog walkers' gather with their flocks of pooches. Like nothing we've seen elsewhere. 2. The Recoletta Cemetary is unique, particularly the stories about the family crypts. 3. The big avenue (Avenida 9 de Julio) is something to behold - and a monster to cross in one light. 4. The Argentine War Memorial to the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas) is directly opposite to the British Clock Tower 5. If you're a shopper, visit the walking street of Avenue Florida. On the whole, I cannot recommend John Boyle more highly. He was on-time and very reliable (he held most of our luggage without causing anxiety on our part). He is an Irishman living in BA for the last several years and has a great perspective of the history and customs. |
| 09/12/2009 | Ben Campbell | UK | Gus was extremely helpful when we arrived at the apartment I ' ve rented , only to find that the owner had left (unlike Gus she hadn ' t checked to see whether my flight had been delayed). My Spanish is practically non-existent: he telephoned the rental agency on my behalf and spoke with the building's doorman to explain the situation . I cannot recommend BA Taxis highly enough. Thanks to BA Taxis for the first-class service and all best wishes, Ben. --Ben Campbell benca47@gmail.com |
| 09/10/2009 | Earthwalker Paul Coleman | UK | John: thank you for your services, we enjoyed your company on the way to our hotel and will surely contact you when next we are in BA. Go well |

| 14/07/2009 | Teresa y Micaela Mendez Nieves | España | Gracias John, a pesar que nuestras maletas estaban perdidas en el aeropuerto nos esperaste mas de 3 horas!. Por ello recomiendo tus servicios a todos. |
| 25/06/2009 | Kenny Vyrd | USA | Thanks, John for collecting me and give me such great advice about Buenos Aires. |
| 10/05/2009 | Flor Martinez | Panama | Though i speak spanish my husband does not. Having an English speaking ex pat describe the city and the night life to him made him feel very relaxed and at home in Buenos Aires. They were also very punctual polite and friendly and gave great advice on things to do in Buenos Aires. |
| 14/04/2009 | Finely Brown | England | Excelent tips on Buenos Aires with the best one being the expat running club the Hash House Harriers what great fun and what a great way to make new friends. |
| 24/02/2009 | Noreen Lappin | USA | A very good interesting service. |
| 02/12/2008 | Nuala Glavey | Ireland | My boyfiend and i had zero Spanish so our trip in with Buenos Aires taxis was invaluable. John told my boyfriend where all the best pubs were and made his holiday |
